Abstract
|
|
|
The four cases of the progressive muscular dystrophy (Facioscapulo-humeral type of Landouzy and Dejerine) were reported which occured in a family.
The two of four patients were more markedly affected in the muscular groups of the face, upper arms and shoulder girdles than those of the others, and subsequently showed considerable weakness of motor activities in involved muscles.
The clinical symptoms and signs were usually initiated at. the age of 17, which had been progressed insidiously.
